There Would Be a City Over the Seas

In the world of arts, I believe, photography stands beside of the literature. Where we assured ourselves that we know the world more than enough and there would never be another perceptions. These two media could amaze us again with freshness and novelty from the very same, usual, regular and ordinary matters.
Natalia Ginzburg or Marcel Proust do the same, they continuously uncover and reveal new concepts in the common and normal days of life. There is no heroic act in Proust because life itself is a stunning epic.
In my idea, today photographers, instead of looking for magnificent matters they should learn to see magnificently, they should learn to see wonderful objects in everyday subjects.
This exhibition is the result of 8 months teaching in the Technical and Vocational University, selected qualified students have been curated precisely to produce these photos.
They were asked to choose a famous photographer as a model to be their specific mentor, and also I advised them to see their surroundings via the chosen photographer eyes to practice their vision.
