Home

In my home town, Bandar-Abbas, I established a photography institution and started teaching photography, as well as curating student, and preparing photography. One of these project/exhibitions was my collaboration with my student to investigate the significance of “home” within our own landscape. This was an internal yet collective exploration for all participants either the audiences or the photographers to recreate their own local time-space. While this was an experience with a proxy for me which was rooted in my teaching, the distance created by the proxy was leaving me a space to engage with my everlasting interest in connection with literature, photography and landscape. I was curating a “home” through other’s photographs.
