We both wear glasses. When I was told I would have to wear glasses as a young boy, people said I could get teased. In reality, this didn't happen, but I suspect it was because no one really knew me. I'm not sure this was a better option in the long run. I hope you weren't teased or held at arm's length. I feel like I see the sadness in your eyes.
